Racquetball

The Club at Green Valley is proud to offer 6 racquetball courts including one tournament court for our members. Reservations can be made in advance by contacting the front desk by phone or in person.

For the novice player an orientation is available with one of our teaching pros where you will learn the basics of the game. Open reservation time, ladders and clinics are also featured.

For the intermediate player there are round robin and challenge courts available throughout the day, ladders, leagues and clinics.

For the advanced player there is an advanced round robin tournament every Thursday night at 6:30, as well as leagues, ladders, clinics, challenge courts, a doubles league and tournaments.

Orientations - is held on the first Monday of every month at 6pm for the novice player.  Rules, etiquette and basic skills are taught.

Reservations - court reservations can be made by members, one day in advance. All racquetball programs except for tournaments are available to members at no additional cost.

Round Robin Courts are scheduled every weekday at lunch and several weekday evenings and weekend mornings. Players rotate courts based on win/loss.

Challenge Court - this is racquetball's version of king of the hill, win your match keep playing.

Clinics - are taught by one of our two teaching pros. The clinics are geared to either beginner/intermediate or intermediate/advanced levels. Specific skills are taught through lectures and drills.

Ladders are separated by skill level and match the participant against an opponent on a weekly basis. Participants have one week to schedule their match with their opponent and record the results. Winners move up to the next rung of the ladder while the loser moves down.

Leagues are also separated by level however matches are scheduled in advance and meet once a week at the specified time.

Tournaments are held at the club for members and non-members. There is a nominal fee to participate in the tournament.
