The Parisi Speed School has developed its proven athletic training methodology over the past seventeen years, having trained more than 100,000 athletes. These training methods have improved athletes' speed, strength, agility and endurance while decreasing susceptability to injury and increasing self-confidence.
The Parisi Speed School benefits athletes starting at the age of seven with skills ranging from beginner to professional. Programs are separated according to age and ability level into the following categroies: The Jump Start Program, The Total Performance Program, and the P.E.A.K. Program.
Our primary focus is to teach all athletes the proper techniques on how to run. We do not use drills aimlessly nor do we use them as the only teaching tool. Each drill has a specific focus and maps back to improving game speed. Sessions are broken down specifically into learning modules of Acceleration, Change of Direction, Maximum Speed and Strength. These are the building blocks of GameSpeed.
Rather that cover all the above in every session, The Parisi System focuses on one component of GameSpeed each session. Our program uses three fundamentals: take consistent action (repetition) on the right strategies (drills) with tremendous attention to detail (mastery). The key to success in GameSpeed (and anything else in life) is not doing thousands of drills and exercises but doing 15-20 drills a thousand times perfectly. That systematic approach is what sets us apart from all other training programs and delivers results to EVERYONE that enters the program.
Jump Start Program
For athletes 7-11 years old. It has been scientifically proven that these are the most critical years of a child's life for motor development. This program has been proven to enhance coordination, running techniques, strength, first step quickness, flexibility, injury prevention, weight loss and overall self-esteem.
Total Performance Program is meant to develop and enhance athletic performance for ages 12-18. These are the most ideal ages for developing speed, strength and power during an athlete's career.
The P.E.A.K. Program was created for the dedicated collegiate or professional athlete. Some of the best and fastest athletes from collegiate and pro-sports including the NFL, MLB, NBA, WNBA, MLS and the Olympic level have trained in the P.E.A.K. Program. There is documented evidence that the Parisi School makes the fastest athletes in the country even faster.
Performance Evaluation (Watch the Video)
Before joining the program, every athlete goes through a comprehensive evaluation to determine their training needs and limitations. After completing the evaluation and choosing either membership or sessions packages, the athlete will be placed into one of the above programs. During scheduled orientations, interested parents and athletes will have the opportunity to be further educated about the Parisi system.
Each class is an hour in duration and is taught by highly qualified and talented performance coaches. Each classes addresses one aspect of our signature speed and conditioning program.
Coaches know that today’s winning teams are composed of more than just technical players. A super team today has to be a strong, fast, flexible team with great nutrition and a solid mental attitude. For most athletes, they think that if they practice hard, learn technique and understand the game, maybe they will have a shot at the starting team. Unfortunately, this old way of thinking is not going to lead your team to the championship. Before your players worry about being knowledgeable technicians on the field, they must first make sure that their foundation as an athlete is strongly built. The foundation of a great player includes speed, strength, endurance, flexibility, balance, coordination, injury prevention, nutrition and mental toughness.
